Until 12 February 2012 we had the pleasure to see something very special thanks to the
Evagoras and Kathleen Lanitis Foundation, which, in collaboration with the Herakleidon Museum of Athens, hosted the world acclaimed exhibition titled “The Complete Sculptures of Edgar Degas,” at the Evagoras Lanitis Centre in Limassol, which has traveled around the world attracting widespread international interest.
The exhibition presented all seventy-four bronze sculptures by Edgar Degas featuring “The Little Dancer, Aged Fourteen.” The sculptures are from the collection of the M.T. Abraham Center for the Visual Arts which graciously loaned the bronzes to the Evagoras and Kathleen Lanitis Foundation for this special exhibition.
I want to share with you some photos of the exhibition which were taken by Mr. Nazif Bozatlı.
