“The lamp of the body is the eye...”

(Mathew 6:22)

The inspiration for the series of works with the general title: “The lamp of the body is the eye...” is derived from the words of Christ as found in the Bible from the gospel of Matthew, and the hydrangeas that flourish in Portugal, flowers made up of other smaller flowers.

A video-installation and a series of prints. colour, motion and texture that excite the senses. The eye looks at the whole but at the same time focuses on the detail. It transfers matter to the body which in turn “translates” to spirit.
