An open call for artists of all disciplines academics writers activists or other cultural agents to respond to the themes of a new exhibition project at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre – Associated with Pierides Foundation entitled Treasure Island. 

The exhibition project will run from 19 September to 8 November 2014 and will be featuring visual works, critical discussions/ interventions and other events selected through the present call, next to a small number of preselected works which negotiate themes that are considered central to this project. 

Deadline for Proposals
Friday, June 27th, 2014 

Submission of proposals for existing works, new productions and/or events. Proposals need to be a maximum of 300 words and to clearly describe the work or event, its concept and rationale, and its expected contribution to the general themes of the exhibition. They must also be accompanied by short biographies of participants and, depending on the format, by visual material and technical specifications, and/or events programme. All proposals must be submitted to the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre, either in hard copy or electronically at info@nimac.org.cy

Deadline for Work Submission 
Monday, September 1st, 2014 

Contributors need to submit their final works/programmes to NiMAC and arrange the time and date of presentation
