Heidi Trautmann
The 2015 Cyprus Jazz Workshop is the first jazz camp to be held in the island featuring international jazz artist/educators from various national countries.
The workshop is open to all individuals, regardless of age or abilities, on most instruments (please check the online application for instrument list). Courses taught will include Jazz Improvisation/Jazz Theory, Jazz Master Classes, Jazz Combos, Jazz Big Bands, plus Faculty Concerts each day. The final concert featuring all the Cyprus Jazz Workshop groups will be on Thursday, 23rd July, 8:30pm. Concert is open to the public at no charge at the European University Cyprus Outdoor Theatre.
Tuition for the workshop is €125 which includes a 2015 Cyprus Jazz Workshop t-shirt.
Registration and Auditions will be held on Saturday, 18th July from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm . All classes begin on Sunday, 19th July at 9:00 am, at the European University Cyprus.
Applicants must be citizens or have a valid Visa/Residence Permit for the Republic of Cyprus.
