Theatre play "A feast for Al-Nouri" by Volker Ludwig (GRIPS-theatre Berlin) from 25th January 2015 at the cypriot national theatre THOK in Nicosia

The original name of Volker Ludwig's play for children against Xenophobia and prejudices from the early seventies was: "A feat for Papadakis". TheGreek director Vassilis Koukalani has adapted the play, which has not lost his relevance since it's premiere in Berlin fourty years ago, and given it the new title: "A feat for Al Nouri" and it has its premiere on 25 January 2015 at THOC.

On invitation by the Goethe-Institut Volker Ludwig came to Nicosia to see the pre-premiere on 18th January at the THOK and was very satisfied by the adaptation and the cypriot actors.

Theaterstück für Kinder "Ein Fest bei Al-Nouri" von Volker Ludwig (GRIPS-Theater Berlin) ab 25.1.2015 im zyprischen Nationaltheater Nicosia THOK

Seit seiner Premiere vor fast vierzig Jahren im GRIPS-Theater Berlin hat das seinerzeit "Ein Fest bei Papadakis" genannte Stück von Volker Ludwig für Kinder gegen Ausländerfeindlichkeit und Vorurteile nichts an Aktualität eingebüßt. Die zyprische Adaption durch den griechischen Regisseur Vassilis Koukalani, der dem Stück den neuen Namen "Ein Fest für Al-Nouri" gab, hatam 25.1.2015 Premiere.

Volker Ludwig, den das Goethe-Institut zur Vorpremiere am 18.1. eingeladen hat, war von der zyprischen Adaption begeistert.
