On April 4, 2013 the Cowbridge Male Voice Choir will sing for us at Bellapais to help Tulips – Help Those with Cancer.

Here some information on the choir:

Founded in 1971 Cowbridge Male Voice Choir (Registered Charity No 514917) is based the historic market town of Cowbridge  in the rural setting of the Vale of Glamorgan the southernmost area of Wales, just to the west of Cardiff, the Welsh capital.

Our aim is to perpetuate the great Welsh tradition of male voice choral singing with a broad repertoire of music bringing pleasure to diverse present day audiences. We place high priority on supporting charitable causes through fundraising concerts.

The choir has travelled widely in Europe and North America over the years its most recent tours being to Malta (2005) and Cyprus (2007).

The repertoire is widely varied, ranging from classical Welsh choral pieces such as Gwahoddiad, Laudamus, Llef and Myfanwy, to medleys from musicals such as Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and West Side Story. We have also incorporated popular hits such as Bohemian Rhapsody, California Dreaming and You Raise Me Up.

Tickets can be obtained at the usual places, Deniz Plaza, Kybele Restaurant, Ticket Office and at the door.
