Altogether ten young artists have submitted 41 works and from these nine were chosen by the jury members Filiz Ankac, Ismet Tatar and Türksal Ince to be displayed with 20 works. The three awards were given to

Batu M. Gündal, born in 1983 in London,

Hasan Zeybek, born in 1986 in Nicosia,

Nilüfer Inandim, born in 1986 in Kyrenia

I can only confirm the fair choice by the jury members. This was also the opinion of my friend Aydin Mehmetali. One of the winners was present, Hasan Zeybek, who showed us around the exhibition and who had displayed five very interesting works.

I am very happy to see a strong young most active generation making their appearance in the art scene, although I wished more of them (just 10!!) had used the opportunity.
