On the occasion of a concert on April 25 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum Dr. Demetra George will receive the 10th Annual Wall of Fame Award from the Putnam City Schools Foundation.  Oklahoma City is hometown to Demetra, or Debbie how her friends call her.

She wants to share her joy about these great news with her friends in Cyprus. Last we heard her beautiful soprano voice at the Halloween charity concert she had organized in 2012 in Bellapais .

With her husband she lives in a beautiful home in Ozanköy but  travels to concerts worldwide and to see her family back in Los Angeles take her away from Cyprus very often, so she will be leaving the island end of March and is expected back beginning of May, hopefully, she said.

"I've been blessed to travel and meet amazing people throughout out the world," she said. "I have learned that you must have a dream, a passion, and that if you work hard, have courage, care about people and live with integrity, you will find success and happiness".
