Samstag, den 26.11.2011 um 20 Uhr präsentieren das Goethe-Institut Zypern, die Deutsche
Botschaft Nikosia und das
CINE Studio der Universität Nicosia den preisgekrönten und für den
OSCAR nominierten Film des deutschen Regisseurs
Wim Wenders: “PINA“ über die bekannteste
Choreografin des 20. Jahrhunderts und Revolutionärin des Tanztheaters Pina Bausch, die vor 2
Jahren gestorben ist. Der Film hat den höchsten
Deutschen Filmpreis 2011 erhalten und ist für
den Europäischen Filmpreis sowie den OSCAR für den besten ausländischen Film nominiert. Er
wird seit Sommer diesen Jahres weltweit erfolgreich gezeigt.
Jetzt auch auf Zypern!
Im Vorfeld der Aufführung von „PINA“ in Nikosia zeigt das
Goethe-Institut Zypern am Montag 21.
11. und Dienstag 22.11.2011 jeweils um 20 Uhr
in seinem Saal verschiedene Dokumentarfilme
von und über Pina Bausch
und ihre Choreografien. Diese Filmveranstaltungen sind kostenlos und
werden in Kooperation mit Dance Gate Lefkosia, dance lab nicosia sowie Theatro Rialto Limassol
durchgeführt. Alle Filme haben
englische Untertitel.

Saturday 26th November 2011at 8.00 pm the Goethe Institut Cyprus, the German Embassy
Nicosia and
CINE STUDIO of the University of Nicosia jointly present the prizewinning film by
German film director
Wim Wenders“PINA” about the German choreographer and revolutionizer of
Contemporary Dance: Pina Bausch (who unfortunately passed away in 2009) and her Wuppertal
Dance Theatre. The film received the highest
German Film Prize 2011 and is nominated for the
European Film Prize 2011 and next years OSCAR for the best foreign film.
As pre information about the life and work of Pina Bausch the
Goethe-Institut Cyprus invites all
film lovers and friends of contemporary dance to two evenings with
documentary films by and
about Pina Bausch
. The dates are Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd November 2011 at 8.00 pm
each
in the hall of the Goethe-Institut (next to Ledra Palace Hotel in the buffer zone). Admission
is free!
The film presentations are in cooperation with Dance Gate Lefkosia Cyprus, dance lab
Nicosia and Theatro Rialto Limassol. All films are with English subtitles!
