Following  the ‘Opening Concert’ Friday evening by Jazz & Blues Trio VINTAGE at their ‘East of  the Sun – West of the Moon’ performance attracting much attention and interest, the Festival will continue on 9th May Wednesday with the LTB Woodwind Trio, Münevver Sakar (Flute), Ali Soyulcu (Bassoon) and Çağın Dostel (Oboe) who will perform the BACH Suite No.2, HAYDN Trio No.3, BEETHOVEN Lu’s Cha Cha Cha, DEVIENNE Trio No.3, Joplin Rag-Time, HOCA Münüsem, Berber Türküsü (two Turkish Cypriot songs) and KALKE Tango Habanera.

On 11 May Friday the Piano-Guitar Duo Tolga & Erkan Erzurumlu take the stage to perform their own works and arrangements of Turkish Cypriot music.

Flute – Harp recital by Ibrahim Özbaskın & Deniz Aker is on 12 May Saturday to interprete MORLACCHI, DONIZETTI, MOZART, BIZET, IBERT, SAINT SAENS, DEBUSSY and THOMAS.

14 May Monday at 20.30 like all concerts of the festival Melodi Kayış performs a Violin Recital and indeed a well chosen programme awaits the music lovers. BACH Chaconna, BEETHOVEN Sonata ‘Spring’, FRANC Sonata in A Major and SARASATE Zigeunerweisen.

Festival closes on 17 May Thursday by AYUR TRIO Hülya Keser (Piano), PAUL UYTERLINDE (Cello) and ADELINA HASANI (Violin) performing RaCHMANINOV Trio in G Minor ‘Elegique’, TCHAIKOVSKY Trio Op.50. PIAZZOLLA La Muerte Del Angel and BARAN Transformations.

8th Spring Music Festival at Bellapais is organized jointly by The North Cyprus Music Association and TRNC Ministry of Tourism Culture . Kybele Restaurant, Hotel Bellapais Gardens , Inter-Gaz, Deniz Plaza and Rocks Hotel are among the main sponsors and supporters.
