Finale : Candida Thompson – Hülya Keser and Raf de Keninck

Ten concerts from 11 April to 11 May in spring 2019, a cool spring but with music that warmed our hearts. The finale was a concert with very fine musicians and a very nice programme: Beethoven, Brahms, Milhaud and Shostakovich, that showed the great musical skill of the artists. Please read the details on the attached programme. It is also interesting to read the biographies of the three musicians.

It was a sort of witchcraft the musicians were exerting on us the audience; they were playing their instruments with their whole being, their whole body and as I was sitting in the front rows I could observe the turmoil of emotions in their faces, pain and joy. The two women, piano and violin, and later the man with his clarinet, looked to me like elves luring us with their music into the depth of a deep forest.
