729 -Johann Sebastian Bach: Rejoice in God in all Lands.... Laden Ince and ‘Cappriccio Fridericana’

Laden Ince and ‘Cappriccio Fridericana’ in Strasbourg and Stuttgart

By Heidi Trautmann

Laden Ince left Cyprus with many good wishes of her many friends, fans, students and combined with the support by the Cultural Directorate,  accompanying her on her journey to her next concerts in France and Germany with the very fine Chamber Orchestra ‘Cappriccio Fridericana’. The concert in France, right in the middle of Strasbourg, in the ‘Temple Neuf’, Laden’s first concert in France was yesterday, on 17 January, and she immediately mailed her friends ‘I am feeling festive!’

While I write these lines, she is getting ready for today’s concert at the Stadtkirche in Stuttgart and from here go our thoughts out to her. I am very pleased that the chamber orchestra and Laden Ince get on so well. It was only last year - and it was with the support of Irene Raab-Marancos that this first meeting and concert in Bellapais could take place.

So I sincerely hope the connection will continue for many more concerts to come and in many more countries.

This text I published before

Laden İnce is invited to Karlsruhe as the soloist soprano

The Turkish Cypriot opera singer soprano Laden İnce is invited to Karlsruhe for a concert. Following the success of the concert in Bellapais Abbey on 3rd March 2014, Laden had the invitation by Sir Hubert Heitz who is the former and the concert meister of the German chamber orchestra called Capriccio Fridericiana. Laden will be singing the soloist soprano part in the Kantata 'Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen' (Rejoice in God in all lands) by J.S.Bach which was composed for two soloists -coloratura soprano and trumpet and orchestra. It is known for its extremely demanding qualities regarding the high virtuosity and ever-lasting coloratura phrases. The concert is organised to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the formation of the orchestra. It will be held on Saturday 18th October 2014 in Karlsruhe, Germany.

It is a pleasure to follow Laden Ince’s musical journey. I heard her sing Bach at the Bellapais Abbey with the same orchestra and it was a very touching concert. Read my review. She calls herself an Ambassador for her country, and she certainly is one of the best.
