I had asked Francine, the director of ChorusLambousa, how things were going on with the new show, and this is what she replied:

Hello Heidi,

With about a month to go to the first night of ChorusLambousa’s “Rhythm of Life” on Thursday, April 30th, rehearsals are well underway.  The chorus of some 40 members in the show are enjoying themselves, especially with numbers like Bohemian Rhapsody, Razzle Dazzle and Bridge Over Troubled Water. There is a great working atmosphere with dedicated people having fun; indeed one member has cancelled a holiday to ensure he doesn’t miss any rehearsals and let the team down. Where do you get commitment like that?

The show takes place in a club called “Rhythm of Life,” a little reminiscent of the “Kit Kat Klub” from the musical “Cabaret”, with the song of the same name and “Rhythm of Life” from Sweet Charity.  Other songs include block-busters from Carousel and Hair and others from Chicago, Guys and Dolls, and Mamma Mia. If you enjoy good music, you will enjoy the show!

Regards, Francine

I have booked three tickets for Thursday, May 30. I want to see how ChorusLambousa has developed. If you ask me, it is an astonishing progress they have made in just one year. In my opinion it is discipline and engagement which makes ChorusLambousa so successful. I wish them good luck, or, as they say, break your leg!
