The Literary Agency Cyprus (LAC) and Whirling Words cordially invite you to a reading of works written by their members at the Home for Cooperation on Friday, 25 April 2014, at 7.30pm.

The event will feature readings by Aydın Mehmet Ali, Marilena Zackheos, Lisa Suhair Majaj, Tina Adamidou, and Münevver Özgür. The reading will last approximately an hour and a half, and will be followed by a wine reception. During the reception, LAC authors will be signing their books, which will be on sale at the event.

LAC, founded in Nicosia in 2013 under the guidance of short story writer Aydın Mehmet Ali, promotes the work of Anglophone writers based in Cyprus. Its aim is to foster the writing of writers who either come from Cyprus, have chosen Cyprus as their home, or live in the diaspora. Whirling Words, one of LAC's projects, is a not-for-profit women writers group that aims to provide a space for writers to share ideas and collaborate, and also to serve as a forum from which they can present their work. Whirling Words was granted an award for multi-cultural partnership by the Stelios Foundation in 2013 to support its first steps.
