CYPRUS NEGOTIATIONS GOING WELL!  HELLİM - HALLOUMI, WATER AND NOW MUSIC FOR PEACE!

The three recipients of the first ever U.S. State Department's Cultural Diplomacy award in Cyprus will appear in an exciting event entitled 'CONCERTS WITHOUT BORDERS' at Bedesten in Central Nicosia!

 U. S. Soprano and Grammy Nominee Demetra George Mustafoglu, Pianist Fikri Toros and  Mezzo Soprano Katie Economidou will share the stage for the first time since the award was made in May 2015.

The evening will offer classical, opera, art song, Broadway, and folk music with quite a few surprises thrown in. The supporting cast will consist of Maestro, Rauf Kasimov , flutist Burak Besir and violinist Marios Pavlou .

For a night with a difference cocktails will be served at 19:30 from the wonderful nearby Saraba restaurant and wine will be provided by Starling Markets.  

The music will begin at 20:15. Afterwards you will have the chance to come and greet the performers and have your photos taken with the artists.

Don't forget to bring your iPhone or cameras. You will want to record this history making night!

Proceeds from this night, which has been supported bu The Little Society Of Kyrenia, Living Magazine, Fraser Meridies Ltd, Bibliotheque and BRTK will go to the The Lefkoşa Özel Eğitim Merkezi and The Lefkoşa Özel Eğitim ve Lefkoşa Özel Eğitim ve İş Merkezi (Centers for Children with Special Needs in Nicosia).

Entrance is by donation of 35 tl and invitations are available  at Deniz Plaza, from the artists or at the door

KIBRIS MÜZAKERELERİ OLUMLU İLERLİYOR : HELLİM, SU VE ŞİMDİ BARIŞ İÇİN KONSER.

Amerikan Dışişleri Bakanlığı tarafından, toplumlar arası kültüre hizmetlerinden dolayı  Kültürel Diplomasi ödülüne laik görülen üç sanatcı ‘CONCERTS WITHOUT BORDERS’ ismini verdikleri heyecan verici konser ile Lefkoşa Bedeten de sahne alacak.

Ödül sahipi sanatcılar,ABD’den  Soprano ve Grammy Ödül adayı Demetra  George Mustafaoğlu, Pianist Fikri Toros , Mezzo  Soprano Katie Economidou ödülün verildiği Mayıs 2015’den sonra ilk defa bir arada sahneyi paylaşacaklar .

Gece boyunca klasik, opera, sanat müziği,Broadway,Halk müziği ve bir çok süpriz sunulacaktır.  Ödül sahiplerine eşlik edecek olan sanatcılar ise Maestro Rauf Kasımov, ,  Uluslararası solo Flut sanatcısı ve film müzik bestecisi,  Burak Beşir ve Keman  sanatcısı Marios Pavlou .

Konser öncesi  saat 19.30 Saraba restaurant ve Starling Marketlerin sponsörlüğünde yiyecek ve şarap ikramı  verilecek .

Müziğin saat 20.30 da başlayacak olan konser sonrası sanatcılar ile tanışıp sohbet etme ve fotoğraf çekme imkanı da olacağından herkes telefonlarını ve fotoğraf makinelerine getirmeyi  unutmasın.

The Little Society Of Kyrenia, Living Magazine ,Fraser Meridies Ltd, Bibliotheque ve BRTK ’nin de katkıda bulunduğu geceden elde edilecek olan gelir Lefkoşa Özel Eğitim ve Lefkoşa Özel Eğitim Ve İş Merkezleri yararına kullanılacaktır.

Davetiyeler 35 tl bağış karşılığı olup Deniz Plaza , sanatcılardan ve kapıda temin edilebilir.
