NORTH CYPRUS INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL OPENS WITH WORLD PREMIERE

 This year the  7 th North Cyprus International Music Festival will be between 16 th of September and 16 th October. The festival will commence with the World Premiere of TRNC composer Ali Hoca's Piano Concerto. The festival is organised by the North Cyprus Music Association and sponsored by the TRNCTourism-Environment-Culture Ministry, The Turkish Embassy, Inter Gas, Rocks Hotel and Deniz Plaza.

 The opening on the 16 th of September will feature 12-year old TRNC pianist Erol Emmioğlu who will perform W.A. Mozart's Piano Concerto No.20 in D Minor with the Samsun State Opera and Ballet Orchestra. The World Premiere of TRNC composer Ali Hoca's Piano Concerto No: 1 will follow next. World renowned Russian pianist Alexander Mekaev will perform this work with the Samsun State Opera and Ballet Orchestra.

 On the 25 th of September Friday evening Gülsin Onay who is among the top pianists in the world, will take on the stage in one of her rare appearences at the Abbey.

 All concerts  wll be at Bellapais Abbey, Girne and will begin at 21.00. Tickets ( 20 TL ) will be available at Lefkosa- Girne Deniz Plaza, Girne Deniz Shop, Dome Hotel, Bellapais Ticket Office, Kybele Restaurant Bellapais and at the door.

25 th September- Gülsin Onay - Piano Recital

29 th September- Kemal Belevi - Guitar Recital

02 nd October- Trio Istanbul

04 th October- Song Recital

08 th October- Pelin Halkacı Akın- Violin Recital

13 th October- LTB Woodwind Trio

16 th October- Lale Musayeva- Piano Recital
